The Downfall of Music
Rap used to be crap, but now we've got a bigger problem- emo. Tons of depressed teenage girls flocking to concerts where moany, spiky-haired, ripped-jeans-wearing bands with retarted names sing about how their girlfriend left them for a real musician. Now, everyone here should be aware, if not already, that I am a devoted Classic Rock supporter. That is real music. Those songs had meaning that wasn't spelt out in the chorus. Not to mention that all emo "bands" sound alike. Personally, I really don't give a crap about what happens in the lives of these moody, whiney bastards. And who is to blame for this? MTV. I find it funny how they think they're Music Television. They play what makes them money and try to tell you it's cool and hip. And these mindless pop-culture-driven imbeciles beleive it! Emo is not real music, people, and the sooner you realize that, the better.

Amen to that. There are few musical genre I dislike but emo is, was, and always will be less pleasurable to hear than three hungry cats wailing in an alley outside of a chinese food restaurant. In fact, I believe, that's how it got started. -BaconLT

dude the cats probly turn into the chinese food. I couldnt agree more tho- emo sucks and i like classic rocke too-so if ur listening to anything BUT classic rock, then y do u breath? no, i take that back, y r u alive?!

Now, that's not fair. Classic rock is good, but it's not the only thing worth listening to. Classic Rock has its roots in Blues, which has its roots in Gospel and Negro Spirituals.

Emo is a stupid name for a music genre. A crappy name for crappy music eh? Sounds good. Emo blows. If you're going to scream something scream for your life when Maddox is beating your ass for being an idiot and listening to 'the used' and 'underoath'
